Time for change?

I have now played 82 games of Live Chess,all with a 1 hour limit.All games have been completed,one way or another.

My rating is still listed at the staring rate of 1200.Will this ever change?

Just wondered as I think I was more like 1100 when I started and would like to think I have improved a bit.You need a morale booster now and then when you get to my age.

It's because you are playing unrated games.

You've been playing unrated games - they don't affect your rating. 

Oh, and the 45|15 time control does not mean 1 hour. It means 45 minutes, plus an additional 15 seconds every time you move.

I have only checked your last game, but that was unrated, which would explain why it didn't influence your rating. Just play rated games and your rating will change.

Gone rated and started about 200 better than I thought I was.Not sure whether to be pleased or not.
