Use firefox!!

When I was playing live chess recently, I was using IE 6. But, I kept getting disconnected. In about 10 minutes, I was disconnected about 3 times. Then I switched to firefox. In ten minutes, not a single disconnected. Use Firefox!!

I use safiri.

Firefox, but Safari is just as good if not better.

Safari is okay to. Just use anything but IE!

I want to play 20 minute games but all I can access are 10 minute blitzes or games that last weeks. I use safari. Contacted Chess help and they said switch to FireFox. Please tell me, does anyone out there using Safari get to play 20 minutes or longer?

I recently went from dial up to satellite (no cable or dsl in my neck of the woods) and was still using ie 6.  Although my connection speeds were better, ie was bothersome.  I switched to firefox and what a difference.  A little fine tuning and it is much faster now.  Glad I switched.

I haven't heard of safari, but I agree, anything is better than ie.

 I think you need to tweak the settings for Safari.

I recently changed to google chrome for all my internet access, it gives much better graphics performance on my system than than both IE7 and firefox. I have only played a few live games using it so I am uncertain how stable it is for live play.

Safari is not open-source. So it does not have third party extensions like Firefox. So I would rather use Firefox than Safari. Google Chrome is also good but it is not stable.

Be careful with Chrome. If you read the EULA carefully, you'll notice way, way, down, that anything you post [text, photos,etc] is then considered to be their property. Which they can then use in any manner they choose. Including using it in advertisings, etc, w/o any compensation.
