Why don't abandoned chess matches count?

his rating was in the 1900's man! it was my best win!! why dont abandoned matches count?

It shows that you won in both players' profiles. Your opponent's rating hasn't changed in at least 50 games, which leads me to believe that he currently plays only unrated games, and that this was an unrated game. If he created the seek, and the letter "u" was near the time control, you accepted an unrated game.

The game counts as a win, but won't affect your rating or show in the stat's for rated games.
