West Texas Chess

This post is for the brave people of West Texas that live hours away from anyone else. Anyone else who wants to drive to us, be my guest. New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, you are all welcome. South Dakota? Sure! If you drive that far you can personally take my couch and I will make you dinner, spaghetti probably.

I organize events in West Texas, San Angelo and Midland mostly, through my Concho Chess Academy USCF affiliate.

My goal is to build a chess army in West Texas. We are doing very well as of late and we recently had a scholastic tournament with 100 students K-12 playing.
