Your dreams are made of flips and flops
as rain is made of lots and lots of drops...
This... is... a shop where you buy yourself bishops
Just went to analysis, most of those moves aren't forced, don't think this is a forced checkmate.

If so please enlighten us. I would love to see a refutation of the puzzle.

I don't see how mate can be forced if the first couple moves are correct?
Even if ba4+, trying to get the king to an edge, the king and bishop end up in each other's way and catn do anything, the king could always just go the other way. No way to force the king to a6 or c8 for a mate with the king on c6 and bishop on b5 or b7 or d7 for example. A valid puzzle like this exists but it involves other pieces and more bishops.

My friend you are not taking into consideration the following line if king c6 on move 2:

The second puzzle (24 black bishops) that you have analyzed are with the "least amount" of bishops to make the cut for the idea behind these to prevail: A dual-free puzzle in 14 moves.
If you take one more bishop off it is obviously giving black a chance to get a draw, since this puzzle's main motif is "SPACE" or the lack of it. If black manages to get bishops of the way of the black king it will secure some luft for the king. Luft is actually a German loanword that means "air" it means the black bishops swarming around the black king have a suffocating effect on the black king.
I believe firmly that those are valid puzzles. There is however no doubt that black is getting mated, since the engines are also finding the mate in 14.

Oh OK I guess it's possible. Analysis said 0.00 though. A mate in 14 should be within the calculation horizon.

What engine have you used for this?
If you switch to Stockfish 16 it will find it at the depth of 59.
Btw. Komodo finds it also very fast.
I am guessing that you have used Torch or other engines.

How about a mate in 10,
White to move and mate in 10:

Indeed it is hard for engines I believe you could remove some of the bishops and still it will be hard for these types of engines to solve. Great work!
