Bug: promoting to second last rank

Happened while solving a rated puzzle on the app ().

The solution requires playing d8=Q. It is possible to make the queen appear on d7 instead. By the time of playing the move I had already gotten the puzzle wrong but hit "retry" trying to solve it anyway. Has this happened to anybody else?

I was able to reproduce the glitch when retrying the puzzle:
1. You must use the app and attempt to solve a rated puzzle (not daily, not unrated).

2. When attempting to solve, a promoting move must be legal (if not, try next puzzle)

3. Click on the pawn in question, then drag-move it and select a piece.

In this puzzle I could not test what happens if you try to move the wrong placed piece because it ended there.
