The answer is Be4 because the knight is dead, if it goes to a place except h4, Qxg2 is checkmate, and if it goes to h4 it’s also dead because black moves g5, if any other piece moves, black’s bishop can eat the knight.
when you move your bishop to e4 you don't let white to move its knight. Otherwise it will lead to Qg2 - check and mate. Even if whites play very accurate in defense they will still loose bishop and queen in exchange to your queen. You will need to play accurate as well
I came up with this puzzle with black to move. Can someone explain why the answer is Be4?
This might be a dumb question since I'm new to chess...But any help is appreciated!
