Challenge: How fast can you invert your OP Chess set?

How fast can you revert your pieces to a normal chess set (with the queens as pawns), without checkmating or stalemating the enemy King?

1. Please use the starting setup shown below. You are playing White.

2. Please play this against the “Maximum” engine (Level 25 Komodo.)

3. You win by putting all of your pieces back in their starting positions, with the queens as pawns.

4. Your last move must both put the final piece back into place, AND checkmate the Black King.

5. You lose if you checkmate the enemy King, stalemate the enemy King, or lose any of your pieces.

What’s the shortest number of moves this can be done in?

An example solution that I found below is 31 moves, but I wouldn’t be surprised if others could do it faster.
