Really fun.  Wouldn't mind seeing more of those.  Have to admit the last one got me.  In my beginners mind promotion = queen.  Thanks for getting me out of the box. :)

The third took me far too long, I thought I was playing black...

For me the first was the hardest. Everything else was instant.

Promotion to a queen on the last puzzle would be a draw of stalemate, whereas the knight is checkmate and a win for white.

Hey! I really enjoyed that, but I was to careless to read 'white to move' on the third one though (black had the advantage so...)

Now I have to ask, is there any reason to promote to something other than a queen or a knight?  The other options don't seem to have any special traits.

If the answer is yes, then maybe put it in a puzzle!
