Chess Puzzle Rating drastically changing

I do a lot of chess Puzzles and I’ve started to realize some of these puzzles are way harder than their rating. You know how usually when you lose a puzzle you lose about -15 points, and if you get 2/3 sometimes it will give you +1 if it’s a harder puzzle relative to your rating…. Well I failed a puzzle entirely a number of times and have received a +1, suggesting it’s rated way higher than it claims. When I go to check the rating of the puzzle it will usually say about 2500-2700, but when I come back a few hours to a day later it will show the true rating of about 3200-3400. I’m about 2950-3050 and I don’t mind doing substantially higher rated puzzles but why is the app being dishonest with the numbers? I have pictures but it wont let me post them. Is it just a way to make sure inflated ratings don’t happen, and vice versa to make sure that people that are actually that good get to their true rating quicker?

If you get +1 when completely failing a puzzle, it's because the rating isn't stable and is considered pending. Those puzzles with eventually get a stable rating and be released to the pool as a standard puzzle.
