1.Qxf7+ is forced mate in 3. On the other hand after 1.Rd8 Black is not forced to take on d8.

isnt Bxd1 enough? u lose ur queen.. i dont think anyone would continue the game after losing thier queen...

They would continue the game if they're trying show someone their awesome 10 moves.
1.Rxf6 Qd1+ 2.Bxd1 gxf6.

the point of the puzzle.. black has no way out either lose the queen or get mated... enough said enough done..

I think some misunderstand happened between you both here.
chinmayT was trying to find a way for White to checkmate in less than 10 moves, but gave up after Black's second move.

lol... I've never seen that board style before. For some reason, the queen looks hilarious.
