@vitali_10 actually, the sacrifice isn't really done to bring over the queen:
Good point vitali_10. Although tactics trainer says your move is incorrect if you do a 3 move checkmate instead of a 2 move checkmate, I'd say checkmates with bishops and knights look way better than a queen checkmate. Pawns are the coolest. Also, if you can checkmate without taking a piece, it'll look like your a stronger player.

Although thechoirman resigned, the puzzle is based on what would've happened.
