The issue is not so much overlooking pins but to wonder what else you can do when you are R+B down and your king is under attack. Basically ..Qg6 is the logical choice since ..Qe5 clearly fails to Nf3.
By chance however, black does have the tactical counterblow ..Qh4+ plus ..Qxh6 though it will still leave him trailing by a rook. May be your subject title should have been "Don't overlook piece wins".
