If you know enough computer coding to write simple chess diagram code, you have a chance to earn some easy money. Details, see: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1MykGjXxdp/
Most chess diagrams displayed online today, like the one below that I spotted last week on one of the countless “Move of the Day” or “brilliant move!” Facebook pages, fail to explicitly identify capture moves. That often causes confusion among the audience.
This problem could be avoided if all chess position diagrams were able to display captures with some explicit signifier that a piece was taken (and even, WHICH SPECIFIC PIECE).
If you can write a code string that lets chess diagrams always display capture moves in a clear and informative but not too obtrusive way, I’d guess you could earn a sizable piece of change by selling your code to ChessBase, Chessdotcom, and the other giants of the chess industry.
