Here's one that's a little tricky.
White to play and mate in 7.
FYI For the last puzzle, taking the queen is good but black is still losing due to the white rook and the 3 pawns and black's rook and the ONLY pawn. It creates a 3:1 majorty and white will promote and win easily
Richard, in the last puzzle, how were you planning to continue for Black after 1...Rh3 2.Rxh7#?
this puzzle is actually from a real game and it is not played in that way.
But you should still try to make a good puzzle. You could have said, "If 1...Rh3, how can White blunder and stalemate Black instead of mating in one move?"
Richard, is this one also from a real game? Is that why you have White drawing an easily won position?
#1 - It's easy, very easy not big idea.
One easy checkmate!
#2 - It's really nice played, my favourite it's the pin you can safe one figure, that other dies....
#3 - In the third I think that there is a problem!
#4 - The 1/2 - 1/2 it's a strange one, I think that the sacrafices are brutal.
#5 - Wow, I didn't saw it at first.

Fix it, I think it doesn't works!

#1 - First it's very interesting one, I will have it in my mind for some other times in such trouble I go.
#2 - That's kind of difficult, you can show also this with the knights checkmate it's another pretty odd.
#3 - Great, another odd.
Richard, that was one nasty game (ECO: B00 | 1/2-1/2)
Here's one that's a little tricky.

What do you mean by "it doesn't works"? Does it just mean you couldn't find the mate in 7?
first puzzle I'm sure I can win quicker even earlier on but at move 25 I can mate in 2: Rf1, Kh8, Rf8#
In addition, 8 Kg7 cannot possibly be the correct move as Black can continually check with the rook on f8, f7 and f6, therefore the black king must move to g5 to avoid checks and try another strategy.
My analysis engine is telling me that from the opening position (with black not able to castle but you haven't specifically said) white can force mate in 25 moves.
I guess I'm still following this thread to see if Stephenson2 will ever tell us what these "morans" are he keeps talking about.
