Free bishop thing was a big clue here ;-)
Endgame Surprise
1. Rxf8+ Bxf8 2. Rxh7 is devastating. Other ways to win include 1. Rxf8+ Bxf8 2. Rf7, 1. Rff7, and 1. Rdf7 Rg8 2. Rxg7.
Heh, it's really rather obvious, isn't it. :)
And yes; there were many other moves that could have resulted in a win for white; with an advantage like this, it would take a phenomenal blunder by white for black to equalize.
Although this happens to be the second free bishop he gave me; before his first blunder, I was actually losing the game by a pawn.
This position resulted from a recent random chess game that I played. My opponent managed to gain a pawn advantage a few moves before this, but blundered his advantage away by giving me a free bishop. See if you can spot the game finishing move that I played!
