why not mate in one with Rf8#?

Yeah, Rf8 is checkmate. Oh, and this is an impossible position. How did the Black Queen get in that corner if neither the Bishop nor the pawns have moved yet?

Actually its not impossible, but it would just be very unlikely.

How is this position possible? Pawns can't move backwards, therefore, there is no possible way that the dark Bishop could be placed on b8 without the c-pawn being moved.

If you move Rf8# it´s already check mate, but, how did the bishop get in there?
