A waiting move with the rook, mate in next, and the "waiting" move is: Rook h6
I got some chess books Y'all

This one has been posted a few times already, but a good one anyway.....
1 Rh6 if gxR g7#, if B moves Rxh7#

1. f6 Kg8 (forced) and now 2. Kb1! which I would think is the only winning move. Now black will not be able to force the issue on the queen-side and white's two pawns will magically prevail!

@kco
Ok, I am thinking 1...Rxa3+ 2.Kb2 ??? no no no
1...Bxa3 if 2.dxc3 Bxc1+ 3.Kb1 Qa3
if 2.Rb1/d1 just Bc1#

I solve it first...
And My Tactical Trainer is:
Problems
# Attempts: | 8350 |
Passed: | 4006 (48%) |
Failed: | 4344 (52%) |
Total Training Time: | 67.2 hrs |
One thing about chess puzzles is that every time I try to solve them I look at puzzle few moments, look around to be sure that no one see me, click on solution and post something so people here can think I am smart.
This is not going to be the case here. I will just post diagrams so people who realy love puzzles can try to solve them.
I'll start with easy one.
Mate in 2 moves, white to move.
