The problem with this puzzle is, there are no coordinates. The composers probably missed that, if Black's pawns are going up, 1...a1R# and 1...a1Q# are both checkmate. Do you see it? If it were the other way around, 1...g4# would be the only checkmate.

All these are correct but if the black pawns are going down, then it would be G4

All these are correct but if the black pawns are going down, then it would be G4

I'd find it very weird if the pawns were going up with blacks King castled there.
