Nice puzzle, but it seems pretty impossible to get to this situation. So the only role of the pawns in this game is to make sure that there is only one solution? Kind of stupid, but I guess white wins this one no matter what.
As others have noted, only the pawn on c5 is necessary. The puzzle would look "real" and therefore appeal to more people if you cut it down to 1-2 pawns.
