A number is not the solution to any mathematical puzzle unless you need it to open a creepy vault in one of Indiana Jones scary haunts. Forget the number, give us the algorithm!

Absolute value of sum of difference between two upper numbers and lower number.

Eg abs((6-8)+(7-8))= 3

8 is a solution

Ah, right! I have been close. I tried abs(6-8) + abs(7-8) which works for the first two graphs but is unsolvable for the third frustrated.png
