Phew, I solved it! Have a feeling it could be prolonged with a few moves. I'll take a look at that.
"Endgame selfmates" are probably the most exciting and spectacular of all problem types. I am not very good at solving them but this one is relatively easy.
A version that is eight moves longer and adds a bit of content. I believe however this problem can be expanded with more dramatic thematic content. Haven't succeeded in that sofar.
@n9531l: Isn't this version in the database? I wouldn't be surprised if the composer himself found this improvement later!
