Puzzle scoring needs addressed!

Really frustrating that the puzzle solutions are "all or nothing". Very little "partial credit" based on strength of the move.
The kicker was when I just got penalized for making a move that mated in 1! Just because there are other mate in 1 moves does not mean that any are better or worse than others. A one move mate is a one move mate!
I agree. I don’t understand how I can get penalized -13 points for a wrong move on a complicated play, and then only get +2 points on a move that is said was brilliant. Basically, you have to win 4 to 5 games against one loss to see a small increase in your total score. That’s wrong on on a lot of levels. Bring back the game old system.

Since the launch of the new puzzles rating system (explained here: https://www.chess.com/news/view/announcing-new-puzzles-rating-system), you can change the puzzles difficulty in https://www.chess.com/settings/gameplay.
With "Difficulty = Standard", the system proposes puzzles that are too easy (so you lose more puzzle rating for failing in a puzzle than you get for completing it). But if you choose "Difficulty = Extra Hard", the system should propose puzzles close to your puzzles rating (and you will lose or get similar puzzle rating).
I joined several years ago and have been doing daily puzzles since. recently I cannot recieve puzzle page although I can all the other features. I just get a blank screen for puzzles. I cant get much help from chess.com. Has anyoe else had this problem? Thank you

Perhaps you should clear the cache of your browser.
