For the first problem there are 9 black pawns on the board....moreover it is mate in two ...may be it is an April Fool prank....
Puzzles just for fun!
There are 9 black pawns, which is illegal. Remove any one of them, and white suddenly has a mate in 1. :)
Third problem...promotion to queen or rook is a stalemate....promotion to bishop will give two black squared bishops....so promote to knight..
JMB2010 is right, remove any pawn to make it a legal position and it's definitely mate in one.
As for the third problem promoting into a knight just doesn't work.
I made a mistake in this game. Can anybody spot the mistake that I made?

Oh, didn't see that. Clever thing !
@johnkorean.. You came very close to the answer.
What about white pawn to B6? that solves the threat of checkmate straight away... and then white clearly wins...
In post 33, white to play and win ! Easy, but nice !!!! (Roeczak, please don't post the solution)
Another interesting puzzle.
Try this helpmate in six moves. Black moves first, then both sides co-operate until, at the end of a sequence of six black and six white moves, White checkmates on his final turn. A UK grandmaster failed to find the answer despite trying for more than an hour.
How about you?
Here's a position with white to move and mate in one.
But before solving, do keep in mind that it was published on 1st April.
