Common mistake when trying to recreate this pattern.
Yah. First play h3. Then if Ba5??, Nxe5!! Nxe5 (Bxd1?? Bxf7! Ke7 Nd5#) Qxa5 Nxc4 Qb5! c6 Qxc4 and White is a pawn up.

As explained by Remellion, the sacrifice in the diagram is wrong. Be happy when your opponents attempt it!

The #13 puzzle is reposted every month over the past 16 years. What is interesting is that there is another mate in 3 when the black pawns play in the opposite direction (black starts from the bottom).
