Suddenly got a 3400(!) rating puzzle?

So my current puzzle rating is currently between 1400-1600, (highest 1689) and have done 7k puzzles so far. I usually get puzzles in my puzzle range, (plus minus 500) so it happens I get thrown a 2000 rating puzzle in my face, which I never manage to solve.

But today I suddenly got a 3400(!) rating puzzle that I was challenged to solve. (Which I didn’t of course). Have never seen that high rating before, is that usual to receive for players at my low level? How come I get a puzzle so far from my current rating. :S Does the algorithms have a script to sometimes add random crazy high puzzles once every 7k game or something? 😂
