That's the disadvantage of real game combinations. If your rook was on d7 black could not capture the knight with the bishop after .axb3. Which rould have added a nice touch to the combination.
It's a relief to have this combination available or you would have to fight a long battle for an uncertain win!
That's not an easy line to find!
The second puzzle is rather interesting, I would have thought that black could just trade queens then take the knight. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the opponent blundered. But still, nice tactics! Keep it up!
