Puzzling malfunction in puzzle diagram

I am experiencing a puzzling bug in the chess.com diagram editor. Can anyone work out why it is that if you play the first move of the answer to this puzzle, (...Nb4) the other two half moves get played automatically, rather than requiring you to enter the second? I created it by starting with the FEN from a game position, then entering the solution moves in the diagram (having selected options 'flip board' and 'puzzle'.

I think this is known bug and staff are aware.

I haven't been able to find a hypothesis for why it seems to occur for all FEN positions I get from games, but not for some I create from scratch. I was hoping someone here (where puzzle diagrams are often posted) would identify a factor that might help avoid it.

Unfortunately, I am aware that chess.com can be aware of a bug, aware that older code was running perfectly well and leave code with bugs running for months without taking the obvious step of temporarily reinstating the working code.

Working fine now (including puzzles that were not before as well as new ones)! Well done to the person who fixed it.
