"Instead of labeling it "The rook is lost no matter what!", how about labeling it "White to play and win", and show a critical line such as 1. Kg3 Rf8 2. Nc5+ Kb8 3. Nd7+ Kc7 4. NxR Kd6 and showing how White stops the pawn from Queening without losing a piece.
