White to play and win
Author of puzzle #69 is A.Troizky - Aqwajet 17 showed the solution in #71.
Here is another puzzle from the same author:
White to play and win
Caiello, yes the first move of the solution is 1.h7...
But in the line 1.h7 Qb8 2.Nf3+ Kg4 3.h3 Kf4 4.c4 black can play 4...Qa7+(instead of 4...Qb2+) 5.Kg2 Qg7+ and white is perpetual check.
I must say , the main line of the solution is 29 moves long
Caiello, in this book is not given the solution after 1...Qb8. I think you found it !
The main solution they give is after 1...Qxh7 and is 29 moves long.
Here is a line after 1...Qxh7, that don't work :
If all else fails,do something big.Really big.Really really big. TOO big to be true....................or false............

Caello how do u figure out that much stuff, its amazing :P still, im sure there MUST be a flaw there somewhere; the main solution is 29 moves anyway lol xD
oh yeah your right, i just dimissed that as you could do it earlier, but you get more pawns by holding it off :P im blind -.- lol. Been failing Tactics Trainer too, got like 12 wrong puzzles in a row over 4 days :(
I wasn't online for 4-5 days . I see,Caiello has found the solution
The solution in the book is really 29 moves - I don't know why - there are more moves with queen and bishop between the pawn moves a4,a5,h4 ... I can post the solution from the book ,but I think Caiello perfectly showed how it works.
But there is no doubt , the puzzle is very hard to solve . My friend said , Fritz was wandering about 50 minutes and estimated position like equal.
