this is the puzzle of the day from letsplaychess.com. I personally think their puzzles are harder because they don't title the puzzles to give any sort of hints and the puzzles usually have 4-5 moves to them. I highly recommend trying the daily chess puzzles on the letsplaychess.com. You don't have to be a member to do the puzzle.

yeah because i changed the original. Thank you Tcogdrummer for pointing that out. I made the puzzle wrong from the website
I dont think that this is correct. For example 1. Nf3 exf3 2. Bxf6 fxg2 And white can't mate quickly.

yes, on the website there was actually an alternative solution which was what you found :). The thing is, i don't know how to do alternative solutions in puzzles, idk if you can actually...
