Not Loading

Hi my name is John.

I just joined chess.com yesterday and have been having a few problems that I am hoping to find help for.

The problem is that both the Tactics Trainer and the Daily Puzzle do not load.

I have followed the advice from the Q&A and Forums sections without result.  Both use to work but now they don't.  Also, I am having the same problems on three different computers. This is causing me to think that the problem lies more with the site itself than it does any of my computers?

I would be very greatful for any help that anyone might suggest to correct this problem.

well, i'm certain it isn't the site or we would have tens of thousands of complaints about it. can you be more specific about how it doesn't load? do you see a loading image? do you see pieces? or a background?

what kind of computer do you have? what is your operating system? what is your browser? who is your internet connection/isp?

I have windows Vista on two of my computers and Windows XP on a third one. Everything worked great on all three computers while I was using the chess.com free version.  I then upgraded my membership and everything worked fine.  However, later I noticed that I had signed up for the montly payment plan instead of the annual payment plan and went back into my account and changed montly payments to annual payment and that is when my account stopped working correctly.  With the tactics trainer I see the board but not the peices. With the daily problems I don't see anything. All the little loading box does is turn and turn.  My guess is that when I made changes to my account billing information something at the server level malfunctioned.  My account probably needs to be rebooted at the server? Anyways that is what I think?

thanks. there isn't anything related to your account or the server that could do this. it could be though that the javascript code from our site in your computer got corrupted. what you should do is clear your cache entirely and completely. (see here: http://support.chess.com/index.php?_m=troubleshooter&_a=steps&troubleshootercatid=1&parentid=0 ).

are you able to play chess here? or use the game explorer or chess mentor?

we'll get this solved!
