When I create a new post/ message, will this only be to my group, or to the entire chess.com community (via post)?

If you create the thread in the forum pages of the group, it will only be visible in that group's forum.

This doesn't mean non-members of the group won't be able to see it, unless the group's forums are undisclosed to non-members of the group.

Thanks for the help, I changed my settings to make the posts only visible to group members now.  That is exactly what i wanted.
