answer 1: I use the simplest and I can't imagine using those 3D boards to play chess. further I'd propose the web designers to include even further simplification like a button which fades away all the text and pics but simply the board itself so that one can only focus to the boards. currently i am trying to zoom in and make full screen etc. to hide other things when I need to focus on a move.

This is probably a silly question. No scratch that. I'd be the first to say there are no silly questions, only obnoxious ones. So I'll try to be brief.
What, in your opinion, is the benefit on Chess.com of using the full board versus the simple board, either during play, or after? It is one of the tools here that I have not figured out how to put best to use (there are a handful of others as well). But really, that one, I don't know what I am supposed to do with it.
So, I'm asking: Those of you who use the full board, why do you do so? And vice-versa; if you prefer the simple board, why?
Me, because I don't know really what to do with it, and what it offers me aside from a different layout, I stick with the simple board, because it offers less distractions.
My process from there is pretty simple. I play out the game, then I have the computer analyze it, and I try to be patient enough to study the lines it suggests, and see what kind of learning progress I can make.
Occasionally, as I'm sure happens to many other premium members, I'll get asked whether or not I think it is worth it. I don't think I am getting nearly what is possible out of it, and I still always say yes.
I love the video lessons, chess mentor, etc . . .
I didn't mean to end by going off on a tangent, but I am curious now about two questions:
1) Why do you favor the particular board you use when playing?
2) What in general are your favorite tools offered by this site and how do you employ them?
