Starting high school chess club ... Chess.com or ChessKid.com?

Hi! I'm starting a chess club at the high school where I teach next year. I imagine that some of it would involve teaching the basics of how to play, but I also want the kiddos to be able to advance on their own and play each other (ideally in a live online tournament setting).

Which would be better suited to my purpose - Chess.com or ChessKid.com?

I don't have an account on the site but I think it's target is mostly younger kids. That said, they do have some features for clubs/schools/coaches that might make it worth your while to look at. I don't know if there are any plans to migrate similar features here or not.

ChessKid is for little kids 13 or younger so I would say Chess.com...

It depends, I play a few games on chess kids, it is more polite and targeted on chess but has only 1 timer, that is why I play o it, to train 15 minutes.

That seems to be my thinking - that ChessKid is for younger folks. I did make an account there and there are some useful features. I was mainly wondering if any high school scholastic folks on here had experience in using either one.
