New sound

I don't know about anyone else, but i have just played my first game with the new/variable sounds - i can safely say i absolutely HATE them..........its really putting me off the site.  Off with the volume...........

i can see how some people would like them, but i prefer the old sounds too. dont know why chess.com didnt give an option of whether to have the new or old sounds.

but your not the only one posting a thread like this. hopefully if enough people complain chess.com will bring the old sounds back.

You can tailor the settings for board size/colour and pieces..........please please PLEASE!! make the old sounds available - call them 'classic' or 'simple' so that we can get rid of the awful distracting pointless excuse they have been replaced with.............

Agree.  Anyone know of another good chess site?  I'm not going to play without sound, and I'm not going to play with these new one...yuk.

Yes the new sounds  are bad  very weird sounding  that I  did a throug check of my sound card and speakers if they  had gone bad never  imagined that 

the sounds have been changed  please bring back the old sounds .. 

This site has sounds. I''ve never had my speakers on when I have played here. Now from what you are saying that is a good thing.
