That strange. When that happens, try these:
Use the latest version of chrome or firefox.
Update your java.
Hit ctrl + f5
Clear your cookies and temp files.

In that position, you were in check, and when you're in check, you have to either move your king, block the check with a piece, or the capture the piece that gives check.

I just finished a game that had that problem.
Started OK but abt the 3rd move I couldn't get ANY of the pawns to move.
Opponent agreed to a draw but something must have gone seriously wrong----what ?
