Just for the record, there was already a VoteChess League with the exact same name. It disbanded years ago when the top 20 teams were all found to have engine correlations higher than Magnus Carlsen.
So, if you are going to start such a league, you should institute post-game analysis for every league game and kick out teams with high T3/T4 match rates.

Thank you for the info @btickler! I was thinking about this to avoid cheating, but now I will do it for sure.

I'm delighted to announce the first edition of Vote Chess League (VCL) which has one goal: to determine which chess.com club is the best in vote chess.
Teams: Every club can join the event, which has at least 5 members and have been founded at least 2 months before the start of the competition. Titled and untitled can both participate in the event and support their teams.
Format: The format is 7 rounds of swiss with 2 day/move. The TOP 8 after the swiss will qualify to the the knockout stage of the competition. In the knockout stage of the competition the teams will play in a single elimination bracket sorted by their scores in the swiss. If a game ends in a draw in the knockout stage of the competition the teams will play a rematch with reversed colors. If that game ends in a draw too, then there will be an armageddon game beetween the teams. The team who was higher ranked in the swiss will play with the white pieces, and the team who was lower ranked will play with the black pieces. If this game will be a draw the team with the black pieces will advance.
Schedule: The first round starts on April 1st. The next rounds start when all games from the previous round have been finished.
Registration: The registration can be done by commenting under this forum by writing down the name of the club which will participate. The registration will be closed on 28th March.
