That is an awesome idea. I bet in the future, as the site grows, they will be able to offer sponsorships to promote chess. I thought it would be cool if chess clubs in schools organized groups on here and held tournaments with other schools...maybe they do already?

I was reading Erik's post about the tournament he just played in. It got me thinking (don't laugh i do think). Wouldn't it be great if Chess.com could organize actual OTB tournaments, especially for kids, where the actual prizes could be Diamond memberships?
