As @manekapa mentioned, you can't send yourself one; only others can send you one. I sent you a "You're Cool" trophy just now because it seems to match your penguin profile picture well

Most people use the terms interchangeably, but badges are the ones given for a specific game and cheers/awards/trophies are the friendly ones which can be given at any time to anyone. If you are also chess.com friends with the recipient, then you can even type a small message with the trophy
