Assuming you mean tournaments here on chess.Com and the daily tournaments, you can look at the completed tournaments.
Most people play much more quickly than the time control, but there are usually a few who take most of their allotted time. Some players go on lengthy vacations, which can drive the rest of the players wild. Many tournaments can drag on for months.
In the last few years, many tournaments have excluded these players by making use of the time per move calculation. Others are "No vacation" tournaments.
