New Stone League - please explain

The new leagues are a useful addition, although given we all win roughly half our games it is more a test of endurance- playing as many games as you can - than skill. What I don’t understand is the allocation of trophies - it seems to be somewhat arbitrary.
I always play 5|5 min and just press play, so no direct challenges. When I win I sometimes get a trophy and other times not. But no reason or explanation. The games are lasting more than 10 moves and a number of the trophy-less wins are against people I haven’t played or played less than three times….. both previously proffered explanations. Does anyone know how it works?

I see you already have 1263 trophies for the week.  Are you really putting in 10 hour days?

The rules you quoted are the only rules I've seen.

The leagues are adding to the toxicity level of the site in a huge way. Arena tournaments are now unplayable; I can't get a streak because every other game I play I wind up having to play a 1800-2000+ player and I have no chance. Or, worse, I play a 500 rated player playing 1400-1500 level chess and lose a bunch of rating points to a troll.

Extra points for arena streaks needs to be removed, and also the point difference between bullet means that players who prefer slower time controls can't compete.

I like the new Leagues if only because it gives more meaning to what otherwise would have been a standalone game. If it motivates people to play more I'm guessing that is a good thing. I hope they accounted for people that may just abort every game in which they are black to increase their chance of winning. Maybe reduce the trophies by a % on the next win or some other inhibitor. I think Leagues is a nice addition and a great idea.

I also cannot understand it. Are trophies equivalent to money?  I had read somewhere $1,000 of winning league tournament. Where are the tournaments? Tropies are distracting. I used to think only about my rating.

If you mean the new leagues we were added to without being asked, I am not a fan. All they do is reward time spent playing chess. That isn't a chess tournament, that's a 'use out app a lot' tournament. Can I be removed from these pointless leagues?
