I don't think so. If the player withdraws, there will be no sanction, I think (no experience with that), if he times out; there's no immediate sanction, but it could penalize the player if he wants to join another tournament.

No problem, it's just a few games. I go on a holiday next week, but I'll manage to keep those games alive, I guess. The reason I wouldn't have joined is mainly to give lower rated players a chance. But now they have the opportunity to play a stronger player (on paper that is). And if I lose, I don't mind either.
A member joined my tournament by accident and initiated the beginning of the tournament. This person has asked to be removed. The site tells me I cannot withdraw a player with unfinished games. It tells the player they can't withdraw. If the player makes no moves, will the site eventually allow me to remove the player without penalty?
