Reoccuring Problems with Tournament Play

I am a fairly new member.  I entered four tournaments in January and played without incident.  Then on 02/01/12 I played in a 15/10 tourney where I went 5/5.  After the last game, nothing happened. No information was given as to who had won or anything else.  I checked the records of the other people that I had played and no one had any trophy or anything for that tournament.

The following has happened on these dates:

February 3rd, 4th and 5th

I was signed up for a tournament.  When the tournament began, the board appeared with a spinning cube in the middle which said "Loading". This went on for several minutes and I could not move, see the pieces, see the opponent or do anything.  I tried CTRL F5 but nothing worked.  After about two minutes, I saw in the chat window that my unknown, unseen opponent had been awarded the game due to my abandoning the game.  The games show on my record as a loss with zero moves being made in the game.  To make things more insulting, now everytime I begin a game, I get a warning telling me that improper wasting of opponents time is against the rules and I could lose my membership.  I have sent at least four messages to support concerning this issue, but all I get is the robotic response that I will receive an answer within 24 hours.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

I get the occasional "Loading" too when playing chess.  But i chalk it up to my slow internet speed of 1.5 megs.  It works most of the time, but not all the time.

Thank you for your input. However, I only seem to have the problem when I am participating in a tournament.

If the spinning cube stayed there and it didnt load, it probably means that your internet connection temporarily went down.  Try opening a new tab and seeing if Google or something loads to make sure youre still connected.

I have similar problems on all Live Chess when the Internet is down or slow.

Thank you for your reply,

But I have to insist that this is a problem within the tournament program.  In fact less than fifteen minutes ago, I had completed my second game of a 15/10 tourney. I clicked on the tab to watch a couple of other players finish their game. When it was over, I got a fresh board covered with a white haze, the spinning cube saying loading, and then nothing.  I was completely locked out of the tourney. I was still connnected and could access my home page and the help pages but not get back in the tourney.  I have lost at least the chance of winning four tournaments because of ths problem.  I just found a post by a player who had the same exact problems dating back to 2011.
