But the 55th and 62nd have so many more "players" my biggest question is , why? What is the motivation to make a ton of burner accounts? Thes trolls really need hobbies. Get into [edited: inappropriate - JG] like everyone else

I had 3 "players" timeout in the first round.,each were rated exactly 400,or 800. I believe there is only one other real person in this group with me. Very annoying 🙄

It's very common for new players to sign up for Daily games and/or events without really knowing what they are. They may play one or two moves and eventually time out. It's not uncommon.
Yeah, but are soo many 800 rated accounts and them timing out common? I strongly feel something is fishy. But ig with time, in the next round all of them will be eliminated and the next rounds will have "real" players.
I entered the " 62nd Chess.com quick knockouts " tournament a few days ago,but it started today. I'm looking through the 100 groups of 6 and at least 4 in EVERY group have ratings of either exactly 800, or exactly 400. and most of these " players" do not have profile pics? what's going on?
