So I have two games going on from the same person who used the vacation option to escape a loss--he was at less than one hour of time on one day per move games. He has been on line many times since he started to be "on vacation." These games include one one where he is a solid piece down with no compensation whatsoever.
There should be some time limit, or at least if someone logs back on line, their game should go "off" vacation.
I haven't tried using vacation. I only thought of it now when my opponent uses it, I just want to know, because I'm not always online and I signed up to 24hrs tournaments and lose out of of time. How does it work? Or maybe the question is, once it's maxed out, when will it be resetted?
