My guess is that you didn't have connection to the server, so while the move appeared on your screen, it was never received by the server. This is backed up by the fact that no move was recorded in the game archive.

So in a tournament, I make the first move. e4. Black doesnt move for three minutes in this blitz 5 min game. then game is abandoned and HE wins!!!!! What the hell! Ideas anyone?
