why no trophies/league points for daily games?

Why can't people who play daily games get trophies/league points/whatever they're called? I know it'd probably still be dominated by the degenerate monsters that can grind bullet arenas all day long, but it'd be nice to not be left out of the whole thing entirely.

I would guess that most daily games take well over a week to complete - sometimes months - so possibly doesn't fit into the quick turnaround week by week setup of the leagues?

Nah, most complete in a day or 2 for me, depending on how often people are online

I currently have an ongoing daily game (3 day time control, no vacation) from Dec 7th, 2021 - a little over 5 weeks have passed, and I've always been making moves as soon as possible. You can't control how fast your opponents play, and some games may end up taking months, which will not fit in with leagues.
they wouldn't do it because daily games normally take too long to complete and wouldn't fit in the weekly leagues

I have one game that started in July! Some folk have hundreds going on and use the full time limit every time
