Well, I care about it a little because I like to succeed at stuff, so I'm trying to bone up on stuff and get it at least above 1000.  Fun is a crucial part of it, but losing all the time steals a little of the fun for me.

I hope I'm not unwanted since...I'm joining this group without being invited. :/

And I just joined the site, and my rating just fell off a cliff when I lost terribly, so...yeah. :/

Funny thing is, I used the Chess Mentor thing, and I got my rating up PAST 1200 afterword, but it didn't seem to change it. :/

I'll try to be helpful, though.
