ABOUT THE MIDNIGHT CLUB WOODEN CHESS SET

Here's a new combo available for a limited time, featuring club series chessmen on a smoothly finished board and a complimentary 32-chessmen box with red lining, all in midnight colors. You'll get extra queens too though for those exciting games where you promote a pawn and get an extra queen on the board!

The club series men are a classic Staunton variation, a perfect combination of form and functionality. This set has been designed to for rigorous play while offering a degree of elegance. The design, quality, and craftsmanship are superior to most chessmen in its price range.

The sturdy club style design is heavily weighted and has no delicate points to break or chip. As with most of our sets, the pieces are felted for smooth play and to protect a wooden chessboard.

Chess notation coordinates along all four sides of the board are helpful for new players to replay recorded chess games. It's also helpful for beginners to record their games.
